About
I am an operator and builder. I help companies put AI to work inside real operations. I run Komod.ai.
Most of my career has been spent where revenue meets the back office. That is where plans turn into invoices, forecasts and closed books. It is also where most AI projects stall.
My first job was in Hangzhou, China, with Hayes Bicycle Group, supporting engineering and manufacturing. I then spent four years as a financial consultant at AXA Advisors. I went back to cycling at Reynolds Cycling, where I helped turn around an international business. We launched a direct-to-consumer line and doubled international revenue. I founded our APAC sales and service center.
At Wayfair I built the B2B sales organization from zero. I led the Salesforce transformation for the commercial org and ran the commercial systems for CastleGate Forwarding. I worked with the executive team and shared a stage with Niraj Shah, Wayfair’s CEO, to talk about sales and account management.
At Glowforge I ran revenue. I put AI into a working sales team and rebuilt revenue operations around it. That job taught me the rule I still work by. The tool is the easy part. The work has to change with it.
In October 2023 I started St Lue, my consulting practice. I build go-to-market, selling and back-office systems for owners and operators. Most companies pay for AI and see little back. Tools get bought, teams keep working the old way, and the spend outruns the return. I keep the client list short so the work stays senior.
Artificial Intelligence is a purchase. Organic Intelligence is a practice.
Komod.ai started as one of those engagements. Commercial real estate owners lose money between the lease and the ledger, and the monthly close is still done by hand. We incorporated Komod in September 2026, and I have run it full time since October. Komod reads leases, invoices and bank statements, reconciles every line and prepares the close for a person to approve. Every number ties to its source. We are onboarding our first paying commercial real estate customer.
I hold an MBA from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and a BA in philosophy from Gettysburg College. I live in Trumbull, Connecticut.
How I work
- Do the work, not a demo. If people still do the job after the software runs, nothing changed.
- Trace every number to its source. Anyone should be able to check any line.
- A person approves money. Software prepares. People decide.
